Eating Out
You will be spoilt for choice on places to eat out whilst on holiday at Captain’s View! We have supplied a folder with loads of information for you, so you can choose just the right place whether you want to take the children and the dog to a quiet friendly pub, you are looking for a sophisticated night out or you’d like a takeaway at home.
For example, if you stroll down Willow Way you will come to the sophisticated but family friendly hotel, the Captain’s Club (www.captainsclubhotel.com). Here you can dine in their excellent 2 AA Rosette Tides Restaurant or enjoy a delicious bar meal in the Lounge or on the Terrace (dogs are welcomed if you are eating outside by the river). Captain's Club have a very good video on YouTube which shows the hotel, but also shows the location and what a lovely spot Christchurch is - have a look at this: www.captainsclubhotel.com/video
Alternatively in the town centre there are a number of restaurants, cafes, and pubs which do great food including Splinters (which also has 2 AA Rosettes), the Copper Skillet, Pinnocchio’s, Soho, The Ship, Ye Old George Inn, Remo, Boathouse, Costa Coffee, Prezzo and many more besides! Christchurch is also home to a vast array of excellent takeaways – most of whom deliver if you fancy a quiet night in!
Very close to Captain’s View, if you walk over Tuckton Bridge you will find the Harvester Riverside Inn, which is both a pub and a family friendly restaurant. It has seating outside in the garden overlooking the river. Also in Tuckton is a traditional Italian restaurant as well as a number of takeaways.
