Bookings are weekly commencing on Saturdays.

Click any available Saturday to select the start and finish dates (start and finish dates will show as half days) and the cost of the week or weeks you have selected will be shown.

Once you have selected your dates, a booking form will appear, this will confirm the dates you require and show the amount the booking will cost. Please read our terms of booking prior to completing the booking form. You will be required to make a 25% payment online to reserve your dates.

Payment will be by Paypal's secure payment system. You may pay by Paypal, Debit or Credit Card.

All bookings are per week from 3pm on Saturday to 10am on the following Saturday. 
Short breaks are also available out of the main season – just give me a call on 01202 422632 or 07801519380 to discuss the dates you would like.

At Captain’s View we have folders of information on everything to make your holiday one to remember plus when you book we will send you lots of useful information on the area, events, maps and so on.  If there is anything you would like to know about the area, events or special interests, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Terms of Booking

  1. All prices include VAT as well as towels, linen and electricity/gas.  You are requested to bring your own beach towels though please.
  2. A cot and high chair are available for loan free of charge – please let us know in advance if you would like these.
  3. One well behaved dog is very welcome at a cost of £15 per week. We would request that dogs are not permitted upstairs in the property or on any of the furniture.
  4. We are sorry, but cannot accept bookings from groups of young, single people
  5. A welcome pack providing you with tea/coffee and homemade cake will be there on your arrival, together with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine for you to enjoy.
  6. Please do let us know if you would like some shopping done for your arrival, which will be charged at cost.
  7. Once you have chosen the date you would like to book your holiday, please pay a 25% deposit of the total amount to secure your holiday. The remaining 75%, plus a cautionary deposit of £50, is then paid 6 weeks before your holiday.  If the property is left in good condition with no damage incurred then the full cautionary deposit will be returned to you immediately. Payment can be made by cheque via the post, or online through PayPal on the website.
  8. Captain’s View will be available from 3pm on the day of booking, and we would request you vacate by 10am on the day you leave. If there are no bookings either side of your booking then we are very happy to be more flexible on timings.
  9. If you should have to cancel your holiday more than 6 weeks in advance we will give a full refund if we are able to re-let.  
  10. Once you have booked we will send you full information on location, access to the house, events in the area whilst you are here, attractions and so on.
